  • After I received my medical degree from Heidelberg University Medical Faculty in Germany, I pursued a two-year postdoctoral study in Immunology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, USA, and Emory University in Atlanta, GA, USA focusing on the role T cell senescence in acute coronary syndrome. After completing my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida, USA, and a clinical fellowship in Rheumatology at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA, I joined the faculty in the Division of Rheumatology at Seoul National University where I work currently as an Associate Professor of Medicine.
