  • Dear colleagues and friends,

On behalf of Korean College of Rheumatology (KCR), it is my great pleasure to welcome you to our 41st Annual Scientific Meeting and 15th International Symposium, which will be held from October 21st to 23rd, 2021, in Seoul, Korea.

The global crisis that is COVID-19 calls for a unified front. I would like to seize this opportunity to thank the healthcare professionals around the world for risking their own health to treat that of others. It is my firm belief that our collective efforts will grant us victory over the pandemic, and KCR is by no means exempt from the call.
KCR’s priority lies in the betterment of patient care in rheumatology, and the gathering of experts in KCR 2021 is a much-needed step to its realization. Leaders in rheumatology around the globe will converge in Seoul with their refreshing lectures and insights. KCR 2021 is the ideal opportunity to discover rising academic trends and to meet and connect with other experts, especially in these ever-changing, trying times.

2021 marks the 40th anniversary of KCR, since its establishment in 1981. In the spirit of celebrating four decades of commitment and devotion, I hope this gathering serves as a chance to cherish our history, while keeping our eyes on the horizon.

I invite you to connect and reconnect with professionals around the world and to take the podium for thought-provoking discussions in KCR 2021. The KCR 2021 Organizing Committee and I will do our best to provide you with an informative and fruitful conference.

We hope KCR 2021 serves as a stepping stone in advancing the field of rheumatology, and as support for our community in our efforts to overcome this challenging time.
